At Sussex Lodge Apartment, a luxury apartment in the United Kingdom, Crossline Furniture was responsible for all the bespoke joinery. A project in which every cabinet, panel and detail was designed to blend into the architecture, with the precision only made-to-measure work allows.

Fumed eucalyptus: a wood with character
Fumed eucalyptus was one of the key choices of the project. The fuming process darkens the wood and brings out its grain, creating surfaces with a deep, warm tone and strong visual presence.
Combined with stone, light tones and the natural light from the windows, fumed eucalyptus gives the apartment a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, in which wood is the true protagonist.
The detail you don’t see
In luxury joinery, quality lies as much in what you see as in what you feel: the movement of a door, the closing of a drawer, the continuity of the grain across panels. That rigour guided every stage, from technical drawings to installation.
