The quiet elegance of cashmere, translated into space
Eric Bompard is a French luxury fashion brand, internationally renowned for its cashmere. For two of its stores, one in Paris and one in Brussels, Crossline Furniture was responsible for the complete fit-out of the retail space, with bespoke furniture from design to installation.
In a luxury store, furniture is the stage for the product: it must showcase every item on display, guide the customer’s journey and convey the brand’s identity without words.
What we did
- Complete store fit-out: from technical design to production and installation.
- Bespoke displays and shelving: designed to organise the collection and highlight the colour and texture of each piece.
- Counters and central pieces: with soft lines and light finishes, in tune with the calm of the brand.
Furniture that enhances the product
For a knitwear brand, colour and texture take the lead. The shelving and displays were designed to present the collection clearly and attractively, with proportions that let every piece be seen and invite the customer to touch the materials.
The counters and central pieces, with soft lines and light finishes, create pauses along the way and reinforce the serenity that defines the brand. Everything was designed so that customers feel they are in a welcoming space, closer to a home than to a shop.
Two cities, one identity
Paris and Brussels have different audiences and spaces, but the brand experience has to be the same. We tailored each store to its architecture while keeping the same language of materials, colours and proportions, so that customers recognise Eric Bompard in either one.
Why fit out a store with bespoke furniture?
Every store has its own architecture, dimensions and constraints. Bespoke furniture makes the most of every metre, adapts to different walls, columns and ceiling heights and, at the same time, keeps the visual standards the brand sets for all its stores.
For brands present in several countries, working with a single manufacturer simplifies coordination, guarantees the same quality in every store and makes future openings or refurbishments easier. At Crossline Furniture, carpentry, upholstery and metalwork are under one roof, which allows us to deliver complete projects.
A luxury retail project that reinforces Crossline Furniture’s ability to support international brands in different markets, with the same quality of manufacturing and installation. Discover more projects in our portfolio.
